Grace Bermingham is an Irish soprano singer with a vast experience as a soloist and church singer. She required a website with a graphic appeal that suited the beauty of her singing and the setting it takes place in. We were happy to oblige, especially after listening to her astonishing and powerful rendition of ‘Panis Angelicus’ as well as a number of other hymns and classical pieces.

From the point of view of the user experience it was important to embed samples of Grace’s singing in a way that could be played straight from the page with the click of a mouse – waiting to download media files before playing them can be off-putting for the user and hence counter-productive for the site owner. We achieved this by embedding the mp3 files into a flash audio player which can be played immediately. We also did keyword research and SEO optimised the site filenames and page titles, keywords and descriptions to best reflect the terms that we knew people were actually using when searching the web.
